Optics

Three objectives allow obtaining 64-640x magnification power. 40xs (most powerful one) objective lens is spring-loaded. It protects the lens and the observed sample during your observations. While focusing, you might accidently lower the lens too much - in that case the spring-loaded lens would retract, thereby preventing any possible damage. The quality Barlow lens doubles magnification power of an objective you use - the basic kit allows you to achieve 1280x increase!

The lenses are made of a special optical glass covered with a special anti-reflective coating - the images will always be very bright and contrast, without any distortions.

Illumination

The microscope is equipped with two LED lights. Lower illumination is used for viewing microscope samples in transmitted light - such way you can observe the thinnest sections of plant and animal tissues, sugar or salt crystals, and other transparent objects. To observe opaque ones - paper money or stones - turn the upper illumination on. When both illuminations are working, you can observe semi-transparent objects. The brightness is adjustable - that means you can regulate its intensity until you find the optimal level of light required for a particular sample.

Body design and power supply

Thanks to the durable metal body the microscope can be intensively used in schools and laboratories. The microscope head is inclined at 45 degrees, so the user won't have any discomfort even when working long hours without any break. It also rotates 360 degrees around its axis, which is very convenient during group work.

The instrument is powered by AC power or batteries so you can use it wherever you want.
