Culture tubes are constructed of KIMAX-51* borosilicate glass for excellent chemical durability and resistance against sodium leaching. They feature sturdy, uniform bottoms and consistent lengths. The 6x50mm tube is also known as a "Durham" tube. The 10x75 and 12x75mm tubes are suitable for cell washing procedures. Tubes are packed in convenient shrink-wrapped trays for ease of use on bench tops and in drawers, as well as to eliminate breakage and contamination.
Glass meets ASTM E438, Type I, Class B requirements. Designed from ASTM E890 specifications.
