These convenient wipers offer portion control and reduced potential of spillage in and out of the cleanroom. The blended material of 55% cellulose and 45% polyester provides the high absorbency of a natural fiber with the cleanliness and strength of a synthetic material. The wipers are blended by a hydroentanglement procedure that uses water instead of chemicals to bind the fibers, creating excellent bidirectional strength and a very low extractable level. Wipers are lot controlled for traceability.
Sterile wipers are saturated with USP grade isopropyl alcoholand are packaged in flexpacks, then the flexpacks are double-bagged to maintain sterility.
For nonsterile wipers, the 70% semiconductor-grade isopropyl alcohol is filtered to 0.2µm and diluted to 70% concentration with 18megohm-cm deionized water. Nonsterile wipers are available in FlexPacks, flip-top tubs, or sturdy canisters.
