Celestron PentaView LCD Digital Microscope 44348 is an extremely high powered digital microscope that makes it easy to share your findings with colleagues or students. Equipped with a total of five objective lenses - 4x, 10x, 20x, 40x, and 60x - these Celestron microscopes are capable of magnification rates from 40x to 2400x, an astonishing rate that allows you to examine, in minute detail, the cells that make up our world. A 4.3" touch screen LCD display shows specimens in high contrast and perfect color, and the eyepiece can rotate 180°. Top and bottom LED illumination on the microscope throws subjects into clear relief, and a filter wheel/diaphragm helps you control the amount and color of light passing through the subject. The images you see in the Celestron Penta View Digital 2400x Microscope can be easily recorded using the digital microscope's integrated 5 megapixel digital camera, which stores thousands of images on the scope's 4 GB SD card, images that can then be transferred to a computer with the included USB cable. Celestron even allows you to share images in real time with the AV/TV function and included cable.
