Product Category Description:

These durable electrophoresis systems have a small footprint and are built to withstand the rigors of everyday use. Gel boxes and trays are molded of thick acrylic for leakproof performance. Trays are UV transparent for easy visualization of samples. Systems accept both 7x7cm (23/4x23/4") and 7x10cm (23/4x315/16") trays.

Durable rubber casting gates permit easy, tape-free casting, while slots in the sides of the trays allow for easy comb placement. The two-piece comb design provides for vertical adjustment, giving the user control over well depth.

The "EasyLift" gel box lid is easily removed using the side tabs and pressure pads. Domed lid design prevents condensation from dripping onto the gel and is surrounded by a drip ring, which helps recover the condensate and maintain buffer concentration.

Ordering Information: Mini7 gel system (89032-288) is supplied with one 7x7cm gel tray, two 8-tooth, 1mm thick combs, and well visualization strips. Mini10 gel system (89032-290) is supplied with one 7x10cm gel tray, three 8-tooth, 1mm thick combs, and well visualization strips. Other comb sizes are available as accessories.
