Product Category Description:

Furnaces are designed for continuous operation to 1200°C maximum and feature an integral controller in a single space-saving cabinet.

Light gauge overbend (LGO*) heating element embedded within Moldatherm* ceramic fiber insulation provides optimum temperature uniformity, energy efficiency, fast response, and rapid heat-up and cool-down. Microprocessor-based self-tuning PID instrumentation automatically sets the best control parameter values during operation. Safety door switch interrupts power to heating element when door is opened. A 2.54cm (1") diameter air vent on top and 9.5mm (3/8") diameter air inlet on rear of furnace allow for inert atmosphere exchange.

Single setpoint units provide a single segment. Single programmable units have 16 segments and 1 program for ramps and dwells. Multiple programmable controllers feature 300 segments with 30 programs for ramps and dwells. All units feature an adjustable over-temperature protection and LED readout to display actual temperature vs. setpoint in °C or °F. Units are also available with optional over-temperature control that shuts unit off automatically if high limit is reached.

Choose from vertical lift door or horizontal side swing door. An optional adjustable gas flowmeter, located on the front panel, is available on 300-segment controllers to allow fresh air exchange for ashing applications or use with inert atmosphere. Chamber is not air-tight.
