This basic reader for 96-well microplates is especially adapted for ELISA and other colorimetric assays. The optical system meets the requirements of current EIA technology, offering a linear measurement range up to 2.5 absorbance units. Up to eight filters can be installed in the eight-position filter wheel. Internal software allows end point and kinetic reading modes and will read the whole plate in five seconds, while flexible cut-off calculations and curve fit algorithms provide increased flexibility for data manipulation in various diagnostic applications. In addition, the extended memory holds up to 64 assay protocols. For PC control, the microplate reader includes the Ascent Software* with a Procedure Desktop to control the instrument and to allow limitless assay setup. The software also includes a flexible Results Desktop for data measurement, calculating results, and creating reports.
