Choose rounded-end tips with a 0.57mm O.D. for SDS PAGE gels, flat-ended tips with a 0.37mm O.D. for 0.4mm sequencing gels, or flat-ended tips with a 0.17mm O.D. for 0.2mm sequencing gels.
