Laboratory Microscopes

A laboratory microscope is the general term for any microscope that is designed for use in the many different types of laboratories. Laboratory microscopes can be upright or inverted in design, and are usually designed large, sturdy and modular so they can withstand the wear and tear of the laboratory and handle a variety of samples. Stereomicroscopes are also used extensively in laboratories. Stereomicroscopes are especially beneficial for sample preparation, bulk sample analysis, dissection, and whenever large working distances, low magnification and large depth of field are required.
